TwiceToddlers (No More) Wearing Very Cute "MooGClip" Headbands

My twins love anything for their hair. They love hair clips and especially headbands. Every morning, after my twins get dressed, all they want, especially Twin B, is for Mommy to fix their hair with the headbands or hair clips we have.

About a week ago, I was looking for some really cute headbands online and came upon this company MooGClips. MooGClips has been selling hair clips, headbands, hair gift sets, hair bows and many more since the MooGClips owner's daughter was nine months old. When her daughter was nine months old, she did not have any hair, but Mommy still wanted her daughter to wear hair clips. As soon as her daughter began to grow hair, she began looking for cute, affordable hair clips and found none.

This is the time MooGClips was created. These hair clips are made for infants, babies, toddlers, little girls and Mommy's too. Right now, you can look at over 100 different ribbon choices and ribbon styles are constantly being added to the website and her many stores.

These are the headbands I purchased for my twins, Fuschia/Fuschia, and they love them. These headbands, or bands, are easy to put on, take off too. This head band is skinny and the flower is made from chiffon. This particular headband color is brand new too. Here are some photos of my twins wearing these adorable, and affordable, headbands.

The next purchase I make, I am looking at these headbands or hair clip. My twins have some really cute animal print clothes and these two headbands would look just adorable in their hair.

TwiceToddlers (No More) Wearing "Merry Twinsmas" T Shirts Mommy Made

Today, I finally got my twins to wear the "Merry Twinsmas" T-Shirt I made them. They looked so cute wearing their T-Shirt, pink jeans and pink head wear. This was the only time they were able to wear these shirts to school before Christmas vacation begins. I wanted their teacher and friends to see them wearing their shirts.

When to go to see my parents and family for Christmas next week, I will have to either pack the shirts or have my twins wear them. Of course, this all depends on the weather. I keep hearing and seeing online the SoCal weather is going to be in the 80's. Goodness. how sweet it is to live in SoCal, compared to NorCal weather.

TwiceToddlers (No More) and Mommy Give Cookies to Neighbors

After making as many cookies as possible, my twins and Mommy were finally able to walk around our block and give a bag of cookies to the neighbors we know. I think we went to five homes and one of our new neighbors who have a five and six year old. Perfect ages for my twins to play with.

The cookies we had made were Peanut Butter Cookies, Peanut Butter Hershey's Kiss Cookies, Carmel Apple Cookies (from my twins fundraiser) and one of my favorite cookies Magic Cookies Bars. When my hubbt saw I was giving away all the Peanut Buter Cookies, he was sad. So, I will have to make some more.

Anyway, our neighbors loved seeing my twins and my walking up to their doorstep, ringing the doorbell or knocking their door and saying, "Merry Christmas!". Everyone I know loves homemade cookies and our neighbors are no different.

This was the second year my twins and I walked around our block and gave our neighbors Christmas Cookies.

TwiceToddlers (No More) Falling Asleep on Family Room Couches

No, this not is something new to Mommy or Daddy. This is what happens when our TwiceToddlers ( No More) do not take an afternoon nap. The only reason my TwiceToddlers (No More) did not their afternoon nap was because Mommy was showing them out to make Peanut Butter Cookies.

Before my twins got home from school, I made the cookie dough. One less cookie making step, with my twins, is so much better. And oh, my twins love baking cookies from the beginning to end.

Once my twins were home from school, they took off their rain jackets, their shoes and showed me all the Christmas crafts they made today. They loved going to school in their pajamas. I had them wear their pink Hello Kitty pajamas Nana and Papa gave them for their birthday.

After my twins not only took of their jackets and shoes, they put on their Disney Costumes...again. A repeat from yesterday that is. Oh, they just look so cute in their costumes and especially cute making Peanut Butter Cookies in their costumes.

Making Christmas, Peanut Butter, Cookies is the reason they did not take their daily afternoon naps. This is how they came to fall asleep after eating their dinner and watching Golden Films Beauty and the Beast on On Demand.

My twins are still sleeping now. Daddy preempted their waking up crying and let them know where they were. If my twins wake up, not knowing where they are sleeping, they freak out, big time.

TwiceToddlers (No More) in their Princess Costumes

Hello my fabulous followers and readers, whether you have twins or twin girls, aged 5 or below, they more likely than not are fans of Disney Princesses. For my twins birthday, my parents, their Nana and Papa, got them the Disney Princesses costumes they wanted.

In the last two days, Twin A and Twin B have been obsessed with their princess costumes. Twin wanted Snow White and Twin B wanted Belle. Over these last two days, I have been trying to get some good photos of them wearing their costumes, but they have been moving around so much, the photo ops have not been attainable.

Twin A walks around the home and talks about being a princess. When she gets home from school, she has to slip on her Snow White costume, same as Twin B slipping on her Belle costume. Today, Twin B wanted Mommy to wear her Halloween costume. For Halloween, I wore one of the dresses the character Elizabeth wore in Pirates of the Caribbean. Well, I said, "No, I don't think so honey. Even though you call me a Queen, I will stay in my clothes. But you and sissy can dress up. I know you live dressing up sweetie."

My twins go through phases, I wonder how long this will last. However long it lasts, at least it is keeping them occupied. My twins have two more Disney custom's which they put on their "animals" and then they play in their "castle tent". Actually, I have purchased two of these tents, but they were not interested in both of them. So now I have the other one in its bag and ready to sell if anyone wants it. The tent is in perfect condition, honestly.

Aside from the tent not being used, my precious twins love role playing, especially if it has anything to do with being a princess.

TwiceToddlers and Spirit Week

Since this is the last week of school for my twins Christmas Break, they are having Spirit Week. It looks as though the email letter I received from my twins teacher came late, so I was not able to purchase a Santa Hat for my twins. The Santa Hat was the first thing my twins could have worn at the beginning of this week.

Tomorrow though, my twins, yes both will be going to school, will be wearing their pajama's to class. Oh, they love this idea. They have to wear their pajama's with socks and tennis shoes. I will be having them wear one of their favorite sets of pajama's tomorrow.

On Wednesday, my twins are supposed to bring Holiday(Christmas Grams) to school. I have no idea what this is. I am supposing they are cards for their friends. I will see if I can find any online or email their teacher.

On Thursday, they have to wear socks, any pair of socks will do.

On Friday, they have to wear Red and Green. Well, if I have these colors, they will wear them for sure.

Wow, this does bring back memories from my grade school days. It was fun having spirit week in grade school and high school too.

Twins and Colds

Last week, Twin A had coughs, sneezing and fever. Because of her not feeling well, she stayed home for three days, including the weekend. Today, since Twin B caught the same cough, sneezing and slight fever her sister had last week, she stayed home today.

Just like last week with Twin A, I had Twin B sitting in Mommy's bed, watching her cartoons and writing out her letters for practice on the dry erase paper I got at a mass retailer two months ago.

When Twin A came home from school, like Twin B, I fed her the same lunch, except at our dining table and not on Mommy's bed. After she finished her lunch, she went into Mommy's room to watch this Beauty and the Beast (Golden Films) movie with here sister.

The only problem was, Twin A would not stop arguing with Twin B. She was being a smart alic, I told her to knock it off or to her room she would go. Well, she must have wanted to go to her because that is where she went.

As Daddy was leaving for work, he went into the rooms to see what they were doing and guess what, they were sleeping. Yeah! It is about time. I kept telling Twin B she needs sleep to get better and go back to school.

This was my morning and mid afternoon...it is a good thing, well not really good, that my twins were sick separately.

My Twins and Talking

My twins, as soon as they wake up, they are talking. This talking goes on all day, and all night. As they talk to each other, they fight, fight some more, and yet again, fight, fight, fight. Along with them fighting over toys, sitting next to each other, what movie they want to watch, or whatever their issue is, they are talking.

Honestly, it is quite irritating. They talk, mainly, just to hear their voices. I am not sure about your twins, or singletons, but my twins do not stop talking until they are asleep at night, or take an afternoon nap.

Even when my twins are sick, they talking and running around the home, continues. They do not know the meaning of sitting still, laying down and resting. Especially when they are sick. Finding ways to get my twins to stop talking is a full time job. Is getting your twins, or singletons, to stop talking a full time job as well?

When Outdoors, You Must Have a Canopy

These days canopies are used for a wide variety of events. Take for instance at the beach, park or any outdoor event. There is more than one style of canopy you can look at and purchase as well. In fact, when you make your purchase from the Canopy Hut, you can look at and choose from canopies that are rugged, high quality and dependable for your situation. The best thing about canopies from Canopy Hut is they can be used for carports, storage sheds and party tents. The party tents will keep food and guests from sun exposure.

The portable storage sheds are another type of shed you can take on the road with you as well. These portable storage sheds are big enough to fit a motorcycle, vehicle or boat under. Along with their different sizes, these portable storage sheds are made from the Canopy Hut standard or heavy duty materials. With the standard materials, the cover, front and back panels and frame have a 1 year warranty. The heavy duty materials, the cover has a 10 year warranty, while the front and back panels and frame have a three year warranty. Whether you purchase the standard or heavy duty portable storage shed, you will be amazed at the quality of these canopies.

This summer, as I went to one of my local lakes, all I saw down the beach were pop up tents . The pop up tents come in various sizes and prices. There are some pop up tents that come with or without mesh sidewalls. The mesh sidewalls are an excellent way to keep an insects out of your tent. Whether you live in an area where there are a lot of insects, or not, these mesh sidewalls are a must have on your pop up tent.

Once the weather turns warm and you find yourself outdoors again, the best way to protect yourself and your food is with these canopies. Nothing says, "I love you" more than setting up a canopy for your family and friends in warm or hot weather.

TwiceToddlers (No More) and the White Christmas T-Shirts Mommy Made

Yeah, I finally got around to making my twins Christmas T Shirt. I had purchased two long sleeve, white shirts at a mass retailer in the Fall season. With each T Shirt, I had planned to make each of my twins a Christmas T Shirt with this saying, "Merry Twinsmas".

Two years ago, on this twins clothing website, I purchased the same T Shirt for my twins. This year, as I looked at the prices of the T Shirts, I decided to make them myself. At the same mass retailer I purchased the T Shirts, I also purchased the clear rhinestones for my twins T Shirts.

To make the rhinestone T Shirts, I just followed the directions on the back of the rhinestone package. Well, I did change something. Instead of turning my T's inside out, I placed a white handkerchief over the rhinestones. I have found this works just as well as turning my T's inside out. This way also prevents the rhinestones from falling off.

Here are photos of how I went about making these "Merry Twinsmas" T's for my twin girls.

1st Step: Cut letters needed for T shirt with Scissors.

2nd Step: With letters, place them on T Shirt
as you want each word to read. Remove the black, backside,
of each letter and place sticky letters where needed
on T shirt.

3rd Step: Turn T shirt inside out; or place white
handkerchief over each word, rub iron over each word
for 10 seconds. Do not over heat letters as the letters
will ruin their stickiness.

4th Step: Once the letters are attached to the T shirt
turn T Shirt right side in. This is what the T Shirt
will look like. Now, touch each letter to see if each letter
is attached to the material.

5th Step: This is what the final product, or T Shirt
will look like.

These T shirts are fun to make, if you have time. They only take thirty minutes to an hour to complete, depending on how many you are making. Since I made two, it took me an hour to make.

Preparing for Holiday Road Trips

Bio: Maria Rainier is a freelance writer and blog junkie. She is currently a resident blogger at First in Education, where recently she's been researching different social work degree programs and blogging about student life. In her spare time, she enjoys square-foot gardening, swimming, and avoiding her laptop.

Many of us will be taking the kids and the car on a road trip this winter to visit family and friends for the holidays. Being busy now is no excuse to be caught unprepared on the road in freezing temperatures later. Here are few tips to keep your holiday traveling safe and drama-free.

Prepare the Vehicle

·Not everyone will be traveling in sub-zero temperatures this winter, but it’s still a good idea to prepare for the worst (and hope for the best). Temperatures tend to plummet when the sun goes down, so be sure to pack a few extra blankets, snacks, and water for the kids. See if the antifreeze, battery, brakes, exhaust, heaters, and oil are up to snuff a few days in advance so you can make last-minute repairs in time. Replace your tires now if they’re worn, and fill your windshield wiper fluid with cold-weather fluid.

·Keep in mind that not all gas stations are open when you need them—say, on Christmas Eve. Make sure you have at least half a tank of gas at any point in time, even when you’ve reached your destination.

·Prep the car with up-to-date roadmaps (or install the latest updates on your GPS, but don’t rely on it too much; service isn’t dependable) and a spare set of directions from GoogleMaps or MapQuest.

·Watch the weather a day or two in advance. Stuff a tool kit, shovel, and flashlight into your car.

·If you get caught in a blizzard, pull off the highway and turn on your hazard lights. Watch for snowplows and emergency road crews. Stay inside the car but don’t keep it running. Instead, run the heat and the engine for 10 minutes every hour to conserve gas (remember that half-tank rule?). Use the blankets, snacks, and water you packed to stay warm and avoid dehydration. If you do go outside, keep an eye out for symptoms of hypothermia and frostbite (shivering, exhaustion, no feeling in extremities including nose, toes, fingers, and earlobes).

Have Fun

Add a few days to the trip—not just as buffer time in case something doesn’t go as planned, but to make time for side-trips. Rather than stuffing your kids in the car like horses in a trailer, make the trip itself enjoyable for them by stopping at relatives’ and friends’ houses along the way, or even visiting tourist traps. Many summery establishments—think beach side hotels—have discounts this time of year, so your family could have the beach all to yourselves. Just remember to dress warmly!

TwiceToddlers (No More) At IHOP

Last night, Daddy, Mommy and Twice Toddlers (No More), ate out at IHOP. We ate there because kids eat free. Whether you have one child or more, you know how it can get pricey taking the family out to eat, recession or not.

Well, as we walked into IHOP and the hostess greeted us, she was in awe of my twins. She said, and this might be a paraphrase, "Are they twins? Yes. Well, they are just beautiful. I have seen many twins and they are not as beautiful as your twins."

My twins and I said, "Thank you so much." My twins and I were grinning from ear to ear. It is nice to hear that about my twins. Normally, it is about their hair and hair color, but hardly about their physical appearance.

Anyway, once seated, we waited for our waitress and ordered from the menu's. Our twins got, as always, chicken strips, Daddy got breakfast and I got soup/half turkey sandwich.

We all had a great time, even though, as always, our twins had "ants in their pants"..

TwiceToddlers (No More) Trimming Christmas Tree

This afternoon, Daddy took down our fake Christmas tree. We have had this fake Christmas tree for about six years now. As much as I really love the real thing, the money we would spend on a real Christmas tree could go towards gifts for our twins. In fact, the money we do save from a real tree does go towards their Christmas gifts.

Once Daddy assembled our tree, with lights attached, Mommy, that is me, brought in all my decorations. The decorations I have have come from my Mom and ones I have purchased as well. Normally, I receive one or two new ones each year from my Mom. This is a tradition from the both of us.

Anyway, here are photos of my twins trimming our tree. They look so cute and I had them trim the tree all by themselves while I took these photos of them.

My twins had a ball trimming the tree, all by themselves, fighting and all..

Keeping Your Eyes Healthy Happens with Sterile Saline Solutions

Seeing as we were only given one set of eyes, it is important that our eye are taken well care of. In order for our eyes to stay healthy and feeling good, all day and night, the best thing to use are saline solutions . There are many types of saline solutions on the market, but when caring for your eyes, you do not want 'just any' saline solution in your eyes. That is why your eyes need the Simply Saline Sterile Solution.

This solution is excellent for rinsing, heat disinfection and storage of your soft contact lenses.
If you happen to be an eye patient with a history of sensitivity to such chemicals as Thimerosal, chlorhexidine or other substances present in preserved saline solutions, this is the saline solution you need. Many saline solutions have a burning sensation in the eyes, not this Sterile Saline Solution. In fact, this is excellent for for dry eyes. Having dry is not fun at all. Especially as the dryness progresses through the day. This is why it is important to have this Sterile Saline Solution on hand, at all times. Now, your eyes will no longer feel the sting and uncomfortableness of those chemicals in your eyes. The Sterile Saline Solution comes in a 12FL OZ of sterile. This 12 FL OZ can is buffered and contains the ingredients of isotonic saline solution, sodium chloride, boric acid, and sodium borate with a pH balance to match natural tears.

Finally, your eyes will feel much more healthy and this is the only way to keep your eyes healthy forevermore. In fact, if your eye or eyes happen to be wounded, you can now use a Wound Wash Saline. This is great for everyday scrapes and burns too. In an instant, this solution will flush out whatever is hurting or bugging your eye or eyes with it's gentle and effectiveness. The best thing about this solution is, it is preservative and drug free. The last thing you need in your eyes is a solution with preservatives and drugs.

So now, your eyes will be happy and healthy forevermore.

Pier 1 Is The One and Only Place To Go For Christmas Decorations

This is a Sponsored post written by me on behalf of Pier 1 Imports. All opinions are 100% mine.

Every since a Pier 1 opened in my city, I have loved it. Everything about this store excites me. Especially during Christmas time. All the Christmas decor and everyday products and gifts are not only fun to look at, but purchase as well. All year long, I look forward to holiday entertaining and purchasing the awesome Pier 1 Christmas candles, dining plates, glasses, tablewear, table centerpieces and so much more.

Right now, I am looking for a table runner for Christmas and have found two on the Pier 1 website I really like, One table runner is gold, down the center, with red jewels coming to a point at the end, while the other table runner is green, down the center, with three Christmas trees at each end of the runner. They are both lovely, but I prefer the gold table runner. This table runner is exactly what I need to complete my dining table look.

If you are looking for  a new Christmas Tree topper, this year Pier 1 has an amazing Silver Star Tree Topper with a glitter finish. Speaking of a Christmas tree topper, how about all the Christmas tree ornaments. There are a variety of ornaments such as candy canes, sea creatures, disco balls, glitter snow flakes and so much more.

Hanging flags outside the front door is still popular. So, if you happen to have a flag pole, there is the Santa or Let It Snow Flag you can hang outside for all your family and friends to see.

When it comes to Pier 1, I think of flare and glitter. I mean, I love the little decor items I can sit on a table or dresser drawer. There are so many items at Pier 1 to give your home that style you have always wanted to share with family and friends.

If you are looking for clearance items, say from Thanksgiving, you can look at the Fall Leaves Wreath, an Artifical Sugared Fruit Mix in a box, Pumpkin and Leaves Votive Holders and even summertime items which are on clearance now.

Right now is the perfect time to walk into your Pier 1 Imports store on visit them online. If you wait too long, what you really want will be taken.
